In high throughput environments such as fitness club membership management or school lunch line POS, a fingerprint reader is required that will capture a high quality image and will not degrade with frequent usage.

The M2-S fingerprint scanner was designed for use with M2SYS' Bio-Plugin biometric fingerprint integration methodology and is also compatible with many standard fingerprint SDKs. Our most durable fingerprint scanner, the M2-S' ergonomic design forces perfect finger placement with each fingerprint scan to produce an optimised fingerprint image with maximum captured surface area.

Dry, damaged, or scarred fingerprints can cause problems with any fingerprint system. Problematic fingers can lead to poor quality images, which limits the ability of the fingerprint software to accurately and reliably perform a fingerprint comparison. The M2-S1 fingerprint reader utilizes best-of-breed radio frequency swipe sensor technology and enhanced imaging to capture even the most difficult to read fingerprints.
